It is not enough to have a mental understanding of the name of Jesus, we must have a deep spiritual understanding of it as well. If you do not have an understanding of the power of that name IN YOUR HEARTS it would not work for you. It also helped me to know that you cannot just call out in prayer, petition, or danger the name of Jesus without knowing the power that the name holds. That it did! There were many highlights that I made while reading this book because they increased my understanding that our enlightenment to God's word would only come through our hearts, and not our 'natural' minds because it is only through the depths of our spirit, in our hearts, could we be enlightened. My first thought upon reading the title of this book was - Yes! I remember the song by Tasha Cobbs Leonard 'Break Every Chain' so I assumed, as the song states, that this book will enlighten me about the fact that 'there is power, in the name of Jesus' (a well-sung line in the song). It has helped me to look at and understand Scripture through a different lens and challenged me to ACTIVELY apply it to my life. I found this book to be very thought-provoking and I loved the perspective that was offered to us readers.
